Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 24 August 2026. These terms apply to custom WordPress and WooCommerce software development supplied by My Royal Market.

1. Project scope

No project begins until we confirm a written scope. The scope identifies the requested behaviour, deliverables, compatibility target, exclusions, price and expected delivery date. Requests outside that scope require a separate agreement.

2. Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate requirements, lawful access to any test environment, backups and valid licences for software involved in the project. The customer must not provide credentials or personal data through insecure channels.

3. Delivery and acceptance

Unless agreed otherwise, delivery consists of an installable ZIP or source-code archive, setup instructions and a summary of completed tests. The customer should test the deliverable promptly against the written acceptance criteria and report reproducible defects.

4. Defect warranty

We correct reproducible defects that cause the delivered code not to meet the written scope when reported within 14 days of delivery. New features, changes in requirements and conflicts introduced by later software updates are not defects and may require a new scope.

5. Intellectual property

After full payment, the customer receives the usage rights stated in the project scope for the custom code delivered. Third-party software remains subject to its owner’s licence. We do not transfer rights that we do not own.

6. Cancellation and statutory rights

Consumer rights provided by applicable law are not excluded. Where a consumer asks us to begin a service during a statutory cancellation period, we obtain the required express request and explain any proportionate charge for work completed before cancellation. Nothing in these terms limits rights relating to services that are not performed with reasonable care and skill or digital content that does not conform to the agreement.
